Gleams I

text and music

I.

Crowd

A hand is stretched

A tiny little bunch…

Flowers’ stems are warm

For someone gripped them long

I take it silently

Without a

Thank you

II.

They’ve clipped a wing of mine

And lured me with sky

See, I’m flying already

Proud and content

But why am I flying in circles

Why…

III.

Crowd

A hand with knife is stretched:

‘Grab it! And stab it

In the first back

That comes across!’

I turn around

And go away…

With stillness in my eyes

IV.

A call

And date

A cup of coffee

Conversation

‘What about another drink?’

Bed…

And everything is all the same…

Emptiness inside

It rings again…

Don’t answer!

V.

Crowd

Above it – Cross

And someone on the Cross

We all throw stones on him

In silence…

I come back home

Holes in my hands

From old, bloody, rusty nails…

Whole Eternity

Up
